Race Video

Since 1985 videos of the Mount Washington Road Race have been made and sold to hundreds of runners as a valued souvenir from one of the most challenging running events in the country. The videos each begin with scenes from the registration area before the race then move to the actual start. After the cannon blast we follow the action up the mountain, moving amongst the male and female leaders until the half way point, at which time we concentrate on the men for a few more minutes before racing to the top to cover the finish. At the finish we videotape almost all the runners as they cross the line, sometimes omitting only a few runners at the very end of each day's race. Then, back down at the base of the mountain, we film the awards ceremony (except in 1985). (Note: During the weather-shortened 2002 race we were only able to videotape the top ten males leading the race, as there was not enough time to drop back and film the women as well.)

If you would like to own your own race video, send payment to the appropriate address below or send email for more information. If you do not want the awards ceremony on your copy, please say so.
